The subject of the song changes and there is a description of a galley which comes into the bay, with three masts of willow, a golden helm, and a well of wine and a well of fresh water in the stern.

Item Notes

This Skye song was probably composed in the late 16th century for the infant Donald Gorm MacDonald of Sleat. According to oral tradition, it was composed by his foster mother.
