Summary
The boy took the cow to market and sold it for £6 10/-. His landlady advises him to sew the money inside his coat lining but a highwayman overhears them. He offers the boy a lift on his horse, stops the horse and demands the money. The boy throws the money into the bushes and, when the highwayman gets off to find it, rides off on the highwayman's horse.
