Summary
Father Iain heals the son of a wealthy man, who gives him money to build a new church.
Father Iain had a poor congregation and a small thatched church. He went to raise funds to build a new one. He was staying with a priest in Morar, where the son of a man in a big house nearby had been ill for years. The doctors could do nothing for him. Father Iain looked at him and asked for ham to be boiled. The next day, he made the boy eat as much of it as he could, then left a dish of water nearby. An eel finally came out of his mouth and into the dish. The boy's father gave him money for his church, in Iochdar, and the family became Catholic.
