Summary

A story which explains why the sea is salty. At one time, ham became scarce at Easter. Some fellow managed to buy a little, but on the way home he met a fairy who wanted the ham. The man exchanged the ham for a magic mill. This mill would make anything one wished after reciting a special rhyme. There was another rhyme which stopped the mill from producing. As expected, matters went awry in the end.
