Summary
This little-known waulking song has two sections. The first describes the situation in the township, and the bad weather. It goes on to talk of a ship in the strait. If it cannot land, the blood of the young earl, and of MacLeod and MacNeil of Barra will be on the rocks. In the other section of the song, the composer speaks about the man she loves, and she describes how he is dressed.
