Summary
This song was composed by the blind piper who was piper to the MacDonald chief in Duntulm. It was sung to welcome home MacDonald after the death of his wife. In it the composer praises the chief, and describes his noble lineage. The fame of the clan in battle is praised.
The contributor heard the tune from John Nicolson in Gedintaylor as a very young boy. His mother also knew it.
