Summary
Fishing for cod out of Newfoundland over 100 years ago.
Over 100 years ago [said in 1995] fishermen used to leave Lochinver and sail to Newfoundland to fish cod. George Stewart tells more about the story. He talks about the type of boat that they would have used, the journey over to Newfoundland, how they would then live in the boat, what they would catch, the types of fishing methods that they used and how long they would stay over in Newfoundland.
