Summary
The noblewoman who insisted on eating ox-tongue every day.
MacKenzie of Kintail's wife insisted on eating ox-tongue every day. The tenants had to kill their cattle to provide for her, which caused great hardship. An old tenant gathered a large herd of cows in front of MacKenzie's house and explained to the lady that they would all have to be killed to satisfy her appetite for a year. She didn't eat ox-tongue again.
The contributor heard this from his father.
