Summary
A priest returned to his friend after his death.
There were two student priests from Uist at college in Aberdeen. One of them said to the other that if he died he would return to tell him how he got on. A few days later, the priest fell ill and died.
Father Donald, the remaining priest, went for a walk and his friend appeared. He told him to meet him later at a certain place. Father Donald sought the advice of the head of the college, who told him that it was the devil in disguise. Following his advice, he overcame the Devil. After this, his friend appeared for first and last time.
