Summary

Duncan MacDonald sings the first two sections of a waulking song which begins 'I went to Eaval on a flitting'. The composer goes on to state that she built a wall and filled a stackyard, not with sweet white barley, but with youths loved by her clan. In the section which follows, her mother reminds her that the young men are her sons.
