Summary
In this waulking song, a woman asks a young man if he has no pity. She tells how she met him in the woods, and told him that she would not yield to him. The lines that follow make it clear that he raped her and she became pregnant. Her own relatives have disowned her. It seems that the man's brothers and sister are unhappy about his behaviour.
