Summary
People exposed St Donan's grave in the hope of making it rain.
People came from Sleat to get meal made [at the mill] but the weather was dry and there was no water in the dam. They exposed St Donan's grave and it rained. They got their meal and went home without covering up the grave. It rained and rained and when the people arrived home their meal was ruined. The contributor heard this story from Duncan MacLellan and his mother, who showed him where the grave was. Kildonan church is discussed briefly.
