Summary
A soldier issued a warning on the eve of the Massacre of Glencoe.
The Campbells received warm hospitality before the Massacre of Glencoe. One soldier was friendly with one of the MacDonalds. The Campbells had sworn they wouldn't tell anyone of the impending massacre. The night before, the two friends were out for a walk and the soldier spoke to a stone and delivered a warning. The contributor doesn't know if the friend escaped. He gives the location of the house where MacDonald of Glencoe was killed.
