Summary
Warnings about the Massacre of Glencoe.
The contributor stayed in Glencoe as a young boy for two years. The Campbells came and stayed for a fortnight. Before the massacre, one of the soldiers said to a greyhound, "If I were in your place I would make my bed in the heather tonight." Although the household heard this they did not understand the importance of these words. Also, there is a stone called Clach an t-Seallaidh, about which a soldier said, "After this night this grey stone will have many tales to tell."
