Summary

Gaelic speakers have left Coll and mainland people have taken their place.

Bunty Kennedy from Coll discusses how the Gaels - the Gaelic speakers - have left Coll and how it is people from the mainland who have come to live on the island instead of them. She discusses how the island has changed as a result of this. Bunty also discusses how the young people leave the island when they are twelve years old to go to school in Oban and quite often do not return to Coll.
