Summary

Tom Anderson tells the story of a tune from Fetlar called 'Halta Dance' and plays it on the fiddle.

There is an ancient ring of stones on Fetlar with two isolated stones in the middle. Legend has it that a fiddler and his wife were returning from a wedding and they heard the trows (little folk) playing. They stayed with them till the sun came up but that was too long and they were all turned to stone. That is why the tune breaks off.
