Summary
This is a popular waulking song with several sections. This version begins with the composer telling of climbing the shoulder of a mountain and finding a girl. The central section contains references to clan chiefs and a request to the composer to do the impossible. The final section which praises the Clan MacNeil of Barra is often heard. The composer says that if she had the power, she would share out various islands and parts of the West Highlands.

The contributor learned the song from her mother. She heard from a woman in Lochaber that it was linked to Iain Lom.
