Summary - Colonsay people fight off the Vikings.

A story of how Colonsay people fought off Vikings with sheaves and buried the dead in the sand at Tràigh an Tobair Fhuair. Fishermen were dissuaded from disturbing the Vikings' bones by digging for bait there, by a storm which arose whenever they tried. The freshwater well could be seen at low tide.
