Biography

1887-1978
Born and raised in Linicro, in the Kilmuir district in Skye. She was a housewife and crofter and she also had a shop in Linicro. Her mother was a descendant of the MacDonald bards and Annie learned a large number of songs from her. She was regarded as a great tradition-bearer.
