Gavin Greig and how he began writing for the Buchan Observer.
One of the reporters from the Buchan Observer asked Gavin Greig whether he intended to publish in the paper the songs and poems he had written and collected. Greig replied that being a school teacher he only had time for that sort of thing in the summer holidays. He wrote articles for the Buchan Observer between 1906 and 1910.
