Summary
Marsh marigold and associated folklore.
Nan MacLeod has been reading 'The Plant Lore of Scotland' by Tess Darwin. She explains that the Marsh marigold belongs to the family 'Ranuculaceae'. She talks about the uses to which that family of plants were put and the folklore associated with them. Although the primrose does not belong to the same family as the previous ones, Nan finishes off by talking about folklore associated with it and the illnesses for which its healing properties were used.
