Tobar an DualchaisKist o Riches has a JistGiving page for anyone who would like to support our work. Any money raised will go towards hosting community events or supporting other new projects which will help improve access to the site.

Community events are vital to Tobar an Dualchais/Kist o Riches’ work and we collaborate with community groups as much as possible to organise events where we can present the recordings in the areas from which they originate. We also use these events as opportunities to find contributors, or their next of kin, so that we can obtain permission for their recordings to be made available online. It is very rewarding to meet contributors and relatives of contributors, and to hear about the personal connections they have with the recordings.

More recently we have been developing the capabilities for allowing our material to be presented through an interactive mapping interface. As well as approaching funders we will also be raising money through our JustGiving page to support this work.
