Takedown Policy

Every effort has been made to correctly identify copyright holders and secure their permission to include items in the website. In some instances material has been included where it has not been possible, despite our best efforts, to trace copyright holders and we hope website users may assist us in identifying contributors and rights holders when listening to such items on the website.

In addition, our team of cataloguers has removed any items which have been deemed inappropriate. However, if you are concerned that you have found material on our website that you wish to be removed please contact us in writing, as follows:

• Please explain why you wish the material to be removed.
• If you are the copyright holder, please give the name of the contributor and your relationship to them. Please also supply contributor's unique identification number as shown in the person record e.g. Person ID 2150. Upon receipt of your letter/e-mail, we will look at your concerns, remove the item whilst we investigate your request and decide on a course of action. This might entail removing the item permanently from the website or it may just involve making some changes. Each case will be looked at individually.
• If you are not the copyright holder please supply the exact and full url where you found the material in question. Please also supply the contributor's unique identification number as shown in the person record e.g. Person ID 2150. We will consider your request, consult with the copyright holder and decide on a course of action.
