Summary
The contributor's uncle helped by a broonie.
The contributor's uncle was killed in the First World War, but beforehand had travelled around Argyll. One night while travelling, he spent a night in a cattle shed in Argyll during winter. He woke in the middle of the night to find patchwork quilts all over him, but they were all gone in the morning. He had been wrapped up by the broonie during the night.
