Forty years on from tragic Cheapside Street explosion in Glasgow.
Forty years have passed since whisky and tobacco storage buildings exploded on Cheapside Street in Glasgow, claiming the lives of fourteen firemen and five men from the Salvage Corps. Donald Stewart who was a fireman in Glasgow at the time remembers this terrible fire. He describes the fire, how the men lost their lives, how the other firemen felt at the time and how they dealt with it afterwards.
