Bill Walker's great grandfather was a MacNaughton who was evicted from Loch Tay-side during the Clearances. He and another man built cottages on common land in Killin. The Walkers were originally from Rannoch, and can be traced back there to 1680. William Walker was a name passed down from generation to generation in the family.
