A lost girl who died in a snowdrift.
Bill Walker knows fewer stories that his younger brother or father because he was away for ten years from the age of seventeen. He was in the Black Watch during the African Wars [the Boer War]. He knows no stories of supernatural dogs, only of dogs finding lost people. The most recent case was of a girl who was walking along Glen Lochay on her way to her parents' house at Glenlyon. She never arrived, and her body was found weeks later under a snowdrift, by one of the collies.
