Transport by coach.
Before the railway came to Killin in 1886 transport was by coach. The Killin Hotel had 50 horses, and coaches ran to Aberfeldy, Pitlochry, Ardlui, Tyndrum and Callander. Before motor transport, grass grew on the Glen Ogle road.
