Summary
Goats and sheep in Jura.
In Jura, goats were kept with cattle because it prevented them from aborting their calves. This is still [1968] done in Knockrome. Most people had goats. There are many wild goats on the island now. Goats were milked, but they did not make butter or cheese from it.
