Summary
Tradition relating to a piper from Uig and words connected to music.
There was a man from Kneep in Uig called Iain Gobha. He was a very good piper. He kept on piping even after the pipes were banned by the minister, Alexander MacLeod. Iain would take the pipes to a cave away from the village in order to play them. He wrote poems as well. The contributor gives some words relating to music as they were used in Uig.
