Summary
A comic ballad in which Jock goes out one night to see Kate, but stops for a drink with a friend on the way. Arriving drunk at the farm, Jock mistakes a steer for Kate and makes to kiss it. After some time, Kate appears and finds the scene very amusing. The song ends with the couple now happily married.
