Summary
Charm against the evil eye.
A woman named Bean Eachainn Mhòir, who lived in Cornaig in Tiree, used "water from a river boundary between two places" to cure a cow or horse on which someone had put the evil eye. Eilidh MacLean describes how a person with the evil eye could cause an animal harm just by looking at it. Bean Eachainn Mhòir's descendants still lived in Cornaig, but Eilidh asks that the tape be stopped before she names them.
